together with the dearest friend for 17 years =), we headed to Nihon Mura for some sushi. love the whole free & easy setting and style.
strolled over to Diaso, one of our fav shopping place, and also one place i will never leave empty handed. =) as usual, i put more things into our basket as we walked, some things which i am still figuring-out-a-use-for-but-will-not-miss-it-becoz it-is-simply-too-pretty. The company will seriously make big bucks with more shoppers like me =) we stopped by the houseware section and came across these sushi making tools such as the sushi moulds that comes in all shapes and sizes. with a random and sudden thought to try making our own sushi, we grabbed a few of each mould design. at the end of the day, a just-looking session resulted in 14 items which included; sushi moulds, cute stickers for d-i-y-ing, gift wrapping materials, floral wallpaper to give my cabinet a brand new look (my favourite purchase of the day), floral tissue holder etc etc...
with the neccessary ingredients bought, we headed back to my home to start our sushi making.
the process was fairly tedious with much items to prepare, but it was defintely fun. especially when we start wrapping the sushi; the occasional "sampling", the drop all over the table mess and the laughters.
ta-da, the very original angikrysss sushi, with a few unique flavour that you wont be able to find elsewhere =)
i will defintely do this again.
